This course provides technical training on Bodymaker Redraw Sleeve / Blank Holder Alignment, covering the Front Hold Down Assembly, Redraw Carriage, Redraw Sleeve, Split Spacers, Redraw Spacer and their relationship with the cradle and tooling. It explains alignment pre-checks, redraw carriage overtravel, parallelism and concentricity measurement, root causes of misalignment, Lee Jet inspection, ram misalignment, slide yoke lift, cradle alignment and corrective adjustment procedures. Proper alignment is essential to prevent wrinkling, tearing, uneven can wall/height, smile marks, tooling wear and machine damage.
