This course provides decorator machine operators and maintainers with a complete understanding of the Over-varnish (OV) Unit used in can decoration systems. Participants will learn the purpose, components, operating principles, adjustments, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques of the OV system. The training focuses on achieving consistent varnish coating quality, proper synchronization with the decorator, safe operation practices, and resolving common production defects such as streaks, slinging, and holidays. The course also covers gravure rolls, applicator rolls, doctor blades, varnish supply systems, pressure adjustments, wash-up procedures, and preventive maintenance activities essential for reliable machine performance
