This course has designed to provide new apprentices with a strong foundation in two-piece aluminum can manufacturing. The course introduces essential concepts of safety, quality, GMP, and production discipline, ensuring apprentices understand their role in delivering safe, high-quality cans to customers.

Participants gain basic knowledge of plant safety hazards, manufacturing processes, and key production machines such as the cupper, body maker, washer, decorator, ovens, necker, and inspection systems. The course also builds awareness of quality standards, ISO requirements, customer expectations, and food safety principles critical to the beverage can industry.

Emphasis is placed on developing a quality mindset, understanding KPIs, reducing scrap and spoilage, and maintaining shift discipline and teamwork. By the end of the course, apprentices are prepared to safely work on the shop floor, follow SOPs, support continuous improvement, and contribute positively to plant performance.

Successful completion of the course is evaluated through a written assessment and basic technical understanding, serving as a foundation for advanced machine-specific and on-the-job training.
